La responsabilidad civil de las empresas transnacionales a través de la Alien Tort Claims Act por su participación en violaciones de derechos humanos
Abstract
The article introduces the possibilities that the Alien Tort Claims Act offers, in the United States, to submit civil lawsuits against transnational corporations for violations of human rights. In spite of the procedural obstacles and the still weak jurisprudence, it is an interesting route of action in those cases that the other judicial national systems not resolve and that they stay out of the jurisdiction of the international criminal courts.
