The adequacy of unemployment protection
Abstract
In the current context of rising unemployment since 2008 caused by the global economical crisis, the debate on the effects of more or less generous financial protection in the relocation of the unemployed workers is described. European models related to the activation of the unemployed are analyzed and some measures and criteria regarding coverage that public systems should guarantee in such situations are proposed.
