Abstract
In this work, Roger Canals uses the results of his research and practical, everyday examples to defend how, in this context of constant creation -and recreation- of images, visual anthropology, interested in ways of understanding images, the gaze, and the network of links we weave through them, offers a unique perspective for reflection on the contemporary world with a firm belief in the indispensable role of anthropology in understanding and transforming the world.
