Abstract

In the present article, we vindicate the multidimensional analysis of social inequality (Rent, Class and Status) proposed by the sociologist John H. Goldthorpe versus the unidimensional and economicist view of income inequality, which has been put to the service of regressive social and economic policies in Europe.
