Abstract

The vanguards have affirmed that there is a relationship between the establishment of rapport and the success of the Mediation. The literature, defining the understanding, empathy and trust as elements that make rapport. This article has considered the opportunity to carry out a thorough investigation on empathy. For this reason, we has been selected the exploratory systematic review. The results have focused on the phenomenon of empathy versus impartiality and Caucus as a tool to explore the emotions of the parties without the rest perceiving partiality in the mediator. We include recommendations and proposals for the future.
