An Overview of the Urban and the Rural in Contemporary Galician Poetry
Abstract
The aim of this contribution is to show the presence of the urban and the rural in contemporary Galician poetry. The poems themselves will take centre stage in order to reveal these trends and to demonstrate that both urban and rural realities are part of the lives of the people who inhabit those spaces. It also points to the existence of a neo-ruralist trend that is clearly in keeping with the times in which we live.
