Lenin's atheism and militant materialism from a discourse analysis perspective (periods 1905-1909 and 1919-1922)
Abstract
The present article explores the genesis of «militant materialism» in Lenin's discourse, analyzing its evolution through two key periods (1905-1909 and 1919-1922). We will argue that Lenin's philosophical positions, far from being an abstract theoretical system, were a political tool, shaped by the socio-historical context of Tsarist Russia and the revolution. The analysis focuses on the relationship between Lenin's political struggle, his debates with the Russian intelligentsia, and the formation of Soviet academic institutions.
