Abstract

We outline the existing information on wool production and trade, and also textile industry (draps de la terra) in a mountainous rural area such as Cinctorres, a village in the region of Morella (northern medieval kingdom of Valencia), at a time of economic prosperity linked to the presence and activities of Italian merchants.
