Abstract

The abundance of debt obligations in the notarial protocols of Toledo at the beginning of the 16th century indicate intense notarial activity during the months of celebration of its fairs, reflected in the number of grants from artisans and merchants in economic and financial activities, allowing you to know the power of your notaries through the documentary form in the application of Castilian and local notarial law in favor of the economic elites.
