El antihéroe cínico de Lorca: "La casada infiel" o el sabotaje mítico de un romancero
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to analyze the nature and deep implications of the antagonism between Lorca’s La casada infiel and the other poems of Romancero gitano, a fact that has been many times stressed by critics and even admitted by the author himself. The hypothesis we present is that, beyond the possible poem’s superficiality, it is antagonic to the other poems in the book in ideological and narratological terms (and it goes against the real Gypsys on which the whole book is inspired), so it may be considered in many ways as a sabotage to the rest of Romancero gitano. To support this hypothesis we have used an analytical procedure called Criticism as Sabotage, developed by Manuel Asensi.Downloads
