Collaboration networks in Madrid’s new neighborhoods. A food market in 70s Aluche
Abstract
Boisan I is a food market located in the center of Aluche (Madrid, Spain) and founded in the seventies. It makes for an excellent example to study the collaboration networks that emerged with the arrival of the first internal migratory wave during Franco´s dictatorship. This article will explore the characteristics and evolution of these social relationships and their main characters, and how it all inspired the complete transformation of the capital´s urban space.
