Los Ammonites del tránsito Berriasense-Valanginiense en la región de Cehegín (Provincia de Murcia, SE de España)

Abstract

By means of the study of several sequences of the Eastern part of the Betie Cordillera (Murcia province), the biostratigraphy based upon ammonoids of the Berriasian-Valanginian limit is stablished. Three faunistic associations can be differentiated, one of them belonging to Upper Berriasian and the other two to Lower Valanginian.
