Abstract

Elio Gioanola’s theorical essay, in the light of Romanticism poetries of silence, relates Pavese’s literary works with the national line of Hölderlin, Leopardi and Baudelaire. Inside Hermeneutic Philosophy exists the “non expressible” that can best heigliten the values of Pavese’s best writing. In consequence, only the silence can bring again poetry to the sacred, religious and mythical sphere.
