Abstract

A new text relating to Gargoris and Habis brings fresh evidence of the fate that these two mythical kings had in the Hispanic medieval historiography. The passage of Justin in his Epitoma Historiarum Philippicarum Pompei Trogi about Gargoris and Habis reappears in the Cronice ab origine mundi by Gonzalo de Hinojosa (14th century).
