Another piece in the reception of the "Natural History". Pliny in Federico Bonaventura’s meteorology

Abstract
Pliny’s Natural History was copied and excerpted since it firstly appeared. Epitomes and commentaries can be found fromthe 15th century. Anemologiae pars prior, work of the Italian author Federico Bonaventura (published in the 16th century), results to be a newly identified link in the chain of reception and comes to complete this scene, by the means of adding new information on the importance of Natural History and the interests of the moment. In addition, it is characterized by using Pliny’s text with meteorological contents.Format
