Menelaus' rhetoric and characterization in Euripides' Andromache: a note on vv. 680-690
Abstract
This paper offers some observations about Menelaus’ characterization in Euripides’ Andromache based on the comparison between his rhetoric at vv. 680-690 and passages from Plato and Thucydides that could be framed in the same cultural context.
