Abstract
An annotated edition of the Account of the siege and capture of Castelnuovo (Herceg Novi, Montenegro) by the troops of Hayreddin Barbarossa in July-August 1539, written by the squadron corporals Juan de Alcaraz and Juan de Tapia. The copy is preserved in the Archives of the Dukes of Alba (Madrid).
