The figure of Argos, the dog of Ulysses, and its reception in recent Spanish poetry
Abstract
This article studies the repercussion that the figure of Argos, the dog of Ulysses, and the scene of the anagnorisis related in Odyssey XVII 291-327, has had in some texts and representative authors of Spanish literature from the mid-twentieth century to the present, especially in poets of different trends and generations.
