Abstract

The objective of this work is to test an explanation and interpretation of the introduction “Répétition et différence” of Différence et répétition by Gilles Deleuze. He starts from the hypothesis that it is a piece of an undeveloped set of moral philosophy. This piece deals with four elements: conduct, law, concept and moral subject. The detailed analysis shows that Deleuze outlines a research program of moral action that is inspired, as a starting point, in Kantianism, and culminates in a double proposal: bringing moral action closer to the aesthetic and ethical action of power. The results point to an artistic genesis of the current moral subject.
