La persistencia de lo efímero. Entrevista a Diana Montequin y Mariana Estévez del Colectivo Siempre
Abstract
This text is an excerpt from an interview conducted with Diana Montequín and Mariana Estevez, members of the Colectivo Siempre. This Argentine group emerged within the context of a local scene shaped by artistic activisms and developed its practice at the intersection of dance and the performing arts between 2006 and 2011. The dialogue aims to reconstruct the trajectory of the collective through some of its most significant actions: Siempre, Intervención por López, and finally Contraataque, which marked the reactivation of the group in the context of the opening of the 11th edition of the Festival Danzafuera, held annually in the city of La Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
In this line, a series of scenic experiences unfolds in which the body—both individual and collective—emerges as a central dimension that articulates artistic practice, public space, and the political context, shaping aesthetic-political narratives that are reactivated in the present through the persistence of a shared framework.
