Abstract
The perplexity caused by the apparently trivial coexistence of contrasting yet in principle valid biographies on the same figure serves as a starting point for an exploration of the territories of (un)identity which surround this genre of writing about lives. From his ample personal experience as a biographer, the author reflects on the implications of this challenge, looking back on the elaboration of his own biography on Rubén Darío.Format
